Salling cliker can be found at:salling.com
which is a program to control your computer from a pocket pc/cellphone

Since it has BT support is this why it is throwing this error? I really
don't know just guessing. It also resides in the system tray in
windows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You might want to try qemu (http://qemu.org) in place of wine. You will need to install your full windows under qemu and then install Salling cliker under that. If qemu does work, however, the only "computer" that it will be able to "control" will be what you have allowed qemu to access and that will not be your entire computer. But that is probably a good thing.

I'll try that when I get a chance thanks. But my end goal was to be able to controll linux apps via salling clicker. Perhaps I could run quemu and since salling uses api calls to controll apps, a script could be written to catch those calls and relay them to a linux equivelent in the linux environment. Not sure if this is possible though as I am pretty new to linux.

Hasn't anyone used salling clicker?! It rocks whether you have a pocket pc(wifi/bt) or a BT enabled phone when coupled with windows xp () and hopefully now linux.
