Wine/mounting probs

Hey guys.

i've just installed wine and wintools, setup my fake windows drive and it all seems to be going well, so i figured i'd try to install some stuff from cd's.

so i mount the cd with

mount /dev/hdc

then run the exectuable with wine, it's all going fine until it comes to changing to a second CD. it says it can;t find a file and won't go any further.

i tried putting the second cd in a different drive (and mounting it) but it won't have that, seems to want to use the drive alreayd in use.

the ni tried unmounting the current used drive but it won't let me while it's 'busy.

so what i'm after is a way to eject a busy drive (sticking a paper clip in makes it whir strangely and i'm tryign to avoid that) or where to add drives into my wine configuration (i looked in the wine.config and couldn;t see any reference to a cd drive.

Thanks in advance!

I think the easiest way to take care of the problem would be to copy all the data from all the CD's you need to install "X" into some folder, and run the install program / software from there. That way you don't need to worry about busy CD drives at all.

:D

that did it and it installed fine...

but since it's a game it keeps asking for the cd, which i have mounted
