WINE installation in PCLinux
 

Hi, friends i am new to linux, can you please guide me in installing wine application in pclinux, i have tried synaptic software manager but could not find the built in wine application.... I have downloaded wine but i dont know how to install that. Please guide me which command i need to run while installing that....

what format have you downloaded wine in? eg: rpm, tar.gz etc

PCLinuxOS : Synaptic > > "Search" > 'wine'

.. just tick wine for install and confirm
'Mark' for libwine too ... and click "Apply"


.. Or use the command line :
1) su
2) apt-get install wine
