Wine help


Can anyone give me a quick run down of how to use wine. I need to install a windows program and i dont know how to start it???? I have Wine installed

with default options type

you can adjust the settings. ie to use windowsXP, 98, 2000 compatablity use:

winecfg
WineHQ is a good place to start, check out the database to see if others have got your app working.

btw. what app are you trying to run? Other readers may have some tips

for more help.....

It doesnt work. Im in emelfm.bin file manager thing and ive right clicked on setup.exe and gone execute with args... and typed wine windowsApp.exe why didnt it work, what am i doin wrong?

Please read the man page and winehq.com. Replace windowsApp.exe with the actual name and path to the exe file.
