wine help
 

hey guys ive installed wine on my other linux pc but for some reason on my redhat 9 pc it doesnt work. i download the .rpm and extracted it and just ran the command "wine". heres the output.


# wine

Did you install newer version of glibc on your linux before install the wine?

nope i didnt. can u tell me the newest verion to download for redhat 9.

Red Hat 9 is ancient. Upgrade, or if not, at least upgrade all the apps on it.

Some version of glibc is on the red hat 9 install disks, but I remember what version it is.
