My computer was working with Windows 2000 Fat and Redhat 6.0
I changed Windows Partition to NTFS.
Deleted Redhat Partition.
Now i must install Redhat again.NTFS is not reading Redhat Cdrom.Then i can't install Redhat.
I tried to use rawrite and NTrawrite to write images to disk.
I used even WinImage to do it.
I wrote the images to floppy.(boot.IMG and initrd.IMG)
Still windows 2000 NTFS is not reading Redhat Cdrom
This is the problem.Any help will be appreciated

NTFS is not reading

check your CD from the bottom. if there are any scratches it is normal that it won't read. in that case find yourself another copy of it.

is your cd-rom drive reading rest of cd's?
I had problem in win2000 that it didn't read any cd but under other OS it read (driver isues)!?!

Is your CD-ROM "Red-Hat 6.0 setup CD-ROM" ?

If you have "Red-Hat 6.0 setup CD-ROM", you can setup linux by booting from CD-ROM.

Of course windows 2000 read the others cdrom.
The cdrom is fine.
Curiosity:it don't read win95 cdrom too.
I'm experienced with linux.
The shit begins when i change windows 2000 to NTFS.

Ok, I think I understand what you are saying. It kind of sounds like you need to enable "boot from floppy" in your BIOS. Here is the process (adjust for you BIOS)
Reboot your PC, hold down DEL
When you get into your BIOS find "advanced"
In there might be an option for "first boot device" or similar
Change the device to Floppy or Fd-0 or something like that
Exit Advanced
Save to CMOS or just exit with Save, whatever your BIOS requires
Put the floppy in the drive
Now you should be ready to go?

Just to let you know what I read from your Opening statement:

It looks like you are trying to simply open "my computer" and then double click the floppy and Go, or something similar with the CDROM device. If I am wrong, sorry that's just how I read it.
Second, you are saying NTFS is not reading your CDROM... Well NTFS has nothing to do with your CDROM, as it is written in iso9660 Filesystem type. That is why CDROM's are more universal than a formatted HD. The CDROM simply reads the disc ones the floppy is booted up into your install, it shouldn't actually boot into Winbloze at all. You should never see flying windows on your screen when installing Linux. If you do, then the process I described above is incorrect or followed incorrectly, or possibly your floppy img's are incorrect.

Bottom Line:
If you are seeing flying windows something is wrong.

The question is simple:
1-I have win 2000 installed on a partition NTFS
2-I must to install Redhat on another partition.
How i install it,if windoze is not reading the cdrom?
It says,insert your cdrom.But cdrom is inserted.
Cdrom is ok without problems.Windoze read all others cdrom normally
Triyng to make windoze read the iso9660 cdrom with redhat,
i writed boot.img and initrd.img to flopyy,using rawrite and ntrawrite too.
It doesn't work too.
If windoze don't read the cdrom nothing can be done.ok?
