Is there any open source software for Linux that will play mp3, ogg, rip cd's and find the song names and album info plus play video. In other words an all in one-er, bit like windows media player?
MPlayer might be what you're looking for. I don't know about ripping CDs though. Do a search here on LQ for what you're looking for and I'm sure you'll find a LOT of threads on the subject.
I would recommend XMMS for audio (although you can get an mplayer plugin in for it I believe) and mplayer for video. To rip audio I use grip (a front-end to cdparanoia) I don't know of any all-in-one programs, but this is what I use and it works for me.
