Windows Live Messenger - Lost Contacts
 
I bought a new laptop, Acer Aspire 6920, which runs Vista, and after I installed Windows Live Messenger, i could not see any of my contacts. It says that "We could not find any contacts that matched your filter". I'm not sure, if i pressed a wrong button with my enthusiasm when downloading. Also, i'm not sure i've set up my laptop correctly, should I post a separate thread for this??

You probably typed something in the "Find a Contact" text box above the contact list.

Silly me. Someone else said the same thing in the other copy of the topic.
