Windows install in LM 16 OS

I just installed Linux Mint 16.

I've downloaded Wine.
What else do I need to do so I can install a Windows program.
I have WhoCrashed Pro. It helps decode BSOD dumps.
I'd like to install it on my LM 16 PC.

If you need other info, just tell me.

Thanks

???
so you are NOT using the already built version of wine FOR mint16 .
Code:

apt-get update
apt-get install wine

linux OS's do NOT have a "Blue Screen Of Death"
and do not make Microsoft log entries

so what exactly are you going to do with that on a linux install ?
there is no MS system registry
the logs are very different
and a microsoft windows tool will be of no use in figuring out a issue on a linux install

I used the Synaptic Package Manager. Is that not the same as what you offered?

Code:

apt-get update
apt-get install wine

OK, so I'll have to leave that function with my Win7 PC.

There are other programs that I might like to port over.
Is it just that I used to wrong method to install wine or is there another part to the procedure to import Windows programs?

Just because I'm checking out the do's and don't on a Linux system,
I'll still be helping out people with Windows issues.

The trick will be keeping Linux procedures separate in my mind from Windows procedures.

P.S. - thanks for the reply.
