Windows file permission

Hello,
How can delete files from windows mount?
I get error "could not delete xxxx"

is it a ntfs partition? if so I think you may have to use something like captive-ntfs. This is something I've been looking into as well, otherwise if it is a fat partition, there shouldn't be any probs deleting the file.

could also be a permission setting on the windows partition. if the permeissions are not set to the correct settings you will not be able to delete or add files to that share point.

double check your windows share permissions. heck i have even had issues like that when i mount as the windows administrator so go figure.
