Windows authentication against OpenLDAP

Is it possible to have Windows login accounts to authenticate to Linux OpenLDAP? If so are there any step-by-step instructions on how to do this?

you'd need to use alternative login mechanism, like pGina, as it's wholly impossible without ripping some of the guts out of windows and replacing them with something very un-microsoft like.

That said, you *could* run a domain on Samba and join your windows machine to that. It's a LOT of extra work though.
