Windows ate my bootloader

I am using a bootloader to use both Windows and Linux on the same comp. However, I was forced to reinstall Windows, and it ate my bootloader! How can I get my bootloader back?

You can do it if you have Linux bootdisk or installation cd. Which distro do you have (installation cd in rescue mode works differently in different distros)?

Just stick the CD in and boot with it. If I remember correctly after answering endless questions about mice/keyboards/etc there is the section for (re)installing lilo/grub and if I remember correctly if auto detects all bootable partitions so its dead easy
