Windows and linux file sharing?
 

Hai there
I need help in between windows and Linux networking.I had seen all pc in network in Linux os. But i haven't seen Linux pc in windows os.

what does a "linux pc in windows os" mean? if you're thinking that networking = sharing files, then that's wrong. if you can see shares on windows from linux, then the networking is fine. moved to Linux - Newbie.

u need to configure SAMBA server on Linux to share files between Linux machine and windows machine.

It might take a while for a new pc to show up in a windows network.
