Window Managers

Everywhere I go I find lots of window managers that brag about being light-weight and efficient. I understand that using Linux as a workstation or server needs to have a low overhead, but are there window managers out there that are very processor intensive, and have extremely high graphics/skinning capabilities.

Thanks for the help

GNOME is maybe a little bulkier, Enlightenment is great. Or why not combine a few things? I used to use Enlightenment with the ROX-Filer, pinboard and panel.
