Iīm really a newbie to linux, and need some answers. Well, actually I have tried out Mandrake once, but it didnīt work as I wanted to. I couldnīt connect to internet at all. I hope I have better luck with Xandros.
Ok, now to the questions. I would like to have Win2k + Xandros 2 on my pc. It is better to install Win2k to C: right? The thing is that I (later) want to be able to use Win4Lin (a windows app emulator), which use Win98SE to start the applications. According to what iīve heard I must install Win98SE also...and I donīt know really where that OS want to be put.
Does this work?:
1. I install Win2k to C:
2. I install Xandros to D: ....with the Lilo bootscreen. Does that remove the win2k bootscreen automatically?
3. I try to install Win4Lin inside Xandros, which require Win98SE, and I install it..."whereever it wants it to be"
Can anybody tell me if I have forgotten something here? Umm...and one more thing. Have anybody had problems with connecting to internet with Xandros? (I have a adsl connection).
I hope my questions wasnīt too confusing
