Win 2k/Mandrake 9.2 dual boot issues

I installed Mandrake 9.2 (first Linux install ever) over the weekend, and i'm loving it. I have two hard drives, one with Linux and one with two partitions (20 and 80 GB). The 80GB is Linux formatted, but the 20GB is where Windows2k used to be. I havent touched the partition, and decided to attemp to get a dual boot system working. I added windows on hdb1 to my lilo config, and it is an option when i boot, but if I select it the boot fails. Any ideas why this would be the case?

not trying to be hard on you bro... but google "how to dual boot linux and windows xp".... lots of detailed internet tutorial that will walk you thru...

basically you can keep the windows boot loader intact and have it point to linux, or use GRUB (my suggestion) on the MBR and have it point to windows... both options require minor modifications to both boot environments...
