Both if I like them. At the moment I play more linux games though, freeciv, dopewars and battle for wesnoth. Well I think at least two can be played in windows too but still.

I am not much of a gamer, so the ones available for Linux are okay.

i prefer games that i can play native on the OS i am using. i would prefer to play my games native to linux.

sadly the games i play are not native to linux so i have to use cedega.

you should have other options like use something like cedega.

I'm a pure gamer for many years now and at the moment, there is no comparison between nix games and m$. ( I've tried lot of solutions ( Winex, Transgaming ) and Linux games as well .... )

Only Unreal Tournament or AA are wonderful, but you'd better like fps games in order to play them. There is no other worthy nix games at the moment.

Originally Linux has not been created to play, but i hope that one day that games's editor will develop their games for both M$ and nix.

thus i have a XP license in order to play my favorites games and ubuntu for the rest.

i prefer to play games on linux, it makes me feel more 1337 :cool: . i love playing supertux and i've got quake 3 working on linux too which rocks. quake III loads and closes faster on linux than windows which is strange, i though windows was a gaming OS. anyway i was planning on install unreall tournament on linux but it takes up 3gb and i only have a 6gb hd for linux (60gb hard disc for windows).

the most good games are done for Win... so I play win games just because they are not available for Linux...but i play the available native linux versions if they exist...
I play them all in linux with cedega...

for native linux games yes if you do not like FPS you will not find many that run native that are nice. Never Winter Nights is nice though.

i have to say that in cedega World of Warcraft runs better under linux then under windows. I get 30% better performance in frames per second under linux then i do in winXP Pro. dual boot system both with most current drivers.

if i could ever get wolfensteinET running on linux i would be using it nonstop.

Windows for stuff that I can't get to work on Linux.

Just recently, I'm a total linux convert. So it is fun to try to depend my life only on Linux/OSS and see what happens. Concerning gaming, it is too sad that big games available for Linux could only be counted with the finger of 1 hand. Ones of the best which I also got is Quake 4, but alas it's a too linier game and lacks re-playability value according to my opinien. So I bought and play it just for the sake that it can run on Linux natively.

i love linux, dont get me wrong. But i dont have the time to really get along and get wine working properly. Poses a problem if you enjoy playing games from time to time; hence why i run a dual boot system.

I'm a bit of a gamer, I play all these games under linux regularly with no hassle and good performance. It's a mix and match of Windows and linux games but I'm one of the happy Transgaming customers, most things Just Work (tm) for me here :)

I also have HL2 etc and Doom 3 running but don't play them as often. They aren't as much fun after you finish them :p If anyone is struggling to get these playing I'd be glad to help, it's not that difficult and performance is generally good. Source-based games start struggling on my 6600GT in 32 player servers but its still playable mostly ;)

Mostly Linux native games unless they're something that I REALLY can't get or work on Wine (America's Army, Dark Age of Camelot.)

correct me if im wrong, but as what i have read, there are certain emulators for linux that you can use in order to play a game requiring windows as its os...i've already tried it, iv'e played warcraft in one of the cafe's here in our place who use linux as there os...lol...anyways, im just a noob...hehehe...
