Will Slackware run GUI on p2-350?

I have an older p2-350mhz computer i'm wanting to setup as a network monitoring node. I want to run xwindows on it but I don't care about the windows manager, anything will work. the only thing i NEED is to be able to run the graphical verison of ethreal and maybe Firefox. I think the box has 128mb memory.. maybe a bit more i dont remember.

I have slackware 10.1 on hand and was thinking of using it for its stability. Will this computer run slackware with any windows manager suitably.. in other words with out dragging its butt...

Slackware Linux is one of the best distributions for older computers.

You will definitely be able to run The X Window System on that PII.

But! Don't expect to get serious mileage out of either KDE or GNOME.

I have installed fluxbox, openbox, and now Window Maker on my PIII-733 / 128. All your programs should work fine.
