will it be slower to r/w vfat than r/w ext3 for Linux?
Hi
I have both xp and fc5 installed on my computer.
Most of the time, I used FC5 and usually my work
need to read/write operation. I am wondering
if it is slower to r/w vfat than r/w ext3 for
Linux.
sometimes I need to use xp and share data between
xp and linux so I have a vfat drive. but I need
to r/w this vfat under linux. If this is slow
then r/w ext3, I want to convert it to ext3, otherwise
I will not because xp need it.
