wifi problems please help


hi guys im completely new to linux any any help at all would be most helpful.

im using a ubisurfer (which is a net book) with a linux os, and im having alot of trouble connecting to the free wifi in pubs and coffee shops. its a open sever so i need no key but with the wifi manager it gives me aload of options to pick frommm for authincation, what one is it i pick to make it work .

also anything you can suggest to make my os look better would be awesome causse it looks pretty gash the now.

p.s. being in a pub/bar all day for 5 days is awesome!!!!!

What happens ig you choose
