why there is different kernel versions from RedHat?


Where can i get special pathces used by RedHat to original kernels from www.kernel.org?

hi there

differnt kernel ar according to different architectures
like for
i386
i686
amd athlon
smp machines
kernel-boot,
bigmen for larger memory support

and all linux packages are procured form
kernel.org and build upon their configurations

Any RedHat patches will be available from their download sites - go to www.redhat.com and start from there.
