Why is Andriod or Google Chrome not available in distrowatch.com
 
I want to try these two distros on my EEEPC!!! Preferably the former...

I'm no expert on this matter but they are probably not completely open source nor licensed under the gpl and not legally available for you to download.

Chromium OS is open source, but Google Chrome OS is currently not verified as open source. Chromium OS can be compiled from source code and installed, and may one day be on Distrowatch once it reaches a stable release point. Chrome OS itself, however, I don't expect to ever see on Distowatch.

Also, even though Chrom(e|ium) OS and Android are based on the Linux kernel, they aren't at all like Linux desktop distros.

But you are more than welcome into making them into a desktop once you get the source code. But if you aren't experience it won't be easy lol.
