Why does my SUSE9.3 choose twm as default WINDOWMANGER?
Hi all,
how can i get back to set KDE as my default windowmanager?
after i have installed linux, the login screen was standard kde login screen. after several times it changed to twm login scheme, but if i login, i will get the usual KDE environment. today it changed suddently to twm environment. i can only get kde by typ "startkde" in an opened xterm there.
echo $WINDOWMANAGER gives
/usr/X11R6/bin/twm
how can i get back to set kde as my default
i have already checked .xinitrc.template,
/usr/X11R6/bin/kde and /usr/X11R6/bin/startkde are both executable, why does it then choose twm as the windowmanger? it is on the last line, if no other windowmangers can be found.
i have really tried to find out in admin and user guide, but still dont know how to configure it back. thanks for help.
regards,
seawolf
