why does KDE shows only "Log out to Root " and Gnome has all options ?

Hi,
I am new to Linux enironment, i have a doubt to be cleared can any of u help me out. when we log out of KDE session, y does it ask for only "LOGOUT ROOT" option where as when we click "LOGOUT" in GNOME it gives all other options as well like"LOGOUT ROOT", "SHUT DOWN" "RESTART". I am logged in as root. Can anybody explain this to me.

Also I suggest you use a normal user account, root is dangerous
