why does it say 2?

hi all,
when I type "w" on console. Why does it say 2 users? and both name is the same which is my log on name.
Should I worry with that?

Are you in X? Maybe because of that, because you are logged on to tty1 from where you started X and X is using tty7 which means another open session.
Someone have any other ideas?

Well, depending on how I do it, I can report having 17 roots logged in. If I log in as root, startx, and while in x use xterm to do some things, open another xterm, and another, then I type 'users' it will say I have 17 roots logged in (if I have that many xterms open). So this might be why.

Cool
