why cant i get global figures after the same commands but my friend can :(


[cee@localhost ~]$ ncargex cpex08

"lx11" isn't a command, it's an instruction is link the X11 library in the compilation. You've not said what you're distro is, but there will be a pacakge like xorg-x11-devel you can install through your package management system (yum, apt etc.) to allow compilation of code against x11.

Question problem with lbz2 installation

[root@localhost lib]# sudo yum install libbz2-devel
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit, security
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
* base: mirror.internode.on.net
* extras: ftp.swin.edu.au
* updates: ftp.swin.edu.au
Setting up Install Process
No package libbz2-devel available.
Error: Nothing to do

huh? you ask about X11 then post (without context) about libbz2??

after i installed lx11 the error continued with lbz2 , if u can help would really be all and done for me ..

It looks like you want bzip2-devel
