Why cann't unzip a .zip file?

I unzip some of .zip files, but some else can not to and return to me:inflating:....What that meant? Thanks!

"Inflating" means that the file was being processed by the unzip procedure.

Once "inflated," the file should be fine.

Edit: Ask your friend to give you the exact error message they received, if any, and why they think the "unzip" failed.

If you can "unzip" the file, either there was an error transmitting the file, or their "unzip" program is incompatable with yours. (The later point is very unlikely to be true.)
