Unhappy Why can't I connect to Internet on Fedora Core V?

First of all, greetings to all.

Now here's my problem: I've installed Fedora Core V on my machine. But I've got a big broblem, I can't connect to the Internet. I've tried to set up the network with my IP, SubnetMask, GW, DNS1 and DNS2 but no result.

The point is that i can see on the graph activity some bytes recived and sent, but I can't connect to any website. I can't even ping them.

Please help!

Thanks in advance- Cheloo. The only bald-black-haired guy

what kind of a connection u have?
if its a PPPoE connection(xDSL)
you should try rp-pppoe

or do you maybe use a router?
check that you have right settings in:
/etc/resolv.conf
/sbin/route -n
/sbin/ifconfig

Sorry i forgot to metion, it's a LAN connection. I actually receive a IP, a Mask, a Gateway, the first DNS and the second DNS and Internet it's working. On Windows, at least.

So my ISP has made a big LAN, and we receive net through our network cards.

Thanks in advance,

Cheloo

Have you tried:
In network configuration, set the connection to: Automatically obtain IP Address with dhcp.
and uncheck automatically obtain DNS information from provider, and set the DNS manually ?
