why am i not able to print pictures?
 

I'm using ubuntu 9.10 and it's not letting me print images, only text .
My printer is an Epson .
Help ?

What program are you trying to print from?

I have encountered this problem in trying to print from the image viewer program. Being too lazy to trouble-shoot it yet, I pop the picture into a document in Open Office and the print the document with no trouble.

That's not a solution; it's a workaround. But it does work around the problem.

yeah, I've been using Image Viewer program .
I'll try the Open Office though .

Oh yeahh ! The install message didn't come up when I turned on my printer .
