Why am i getting this message

I'm trying to mount a few partitions and i'm getting the following message:

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cciss/c0d2p1,
or too many mounted file systems

Without posting the commands you are using and the file system you are trying to mount (ext2, fat32, ntfs, smfs, etc), I can tell you now that it will be impossible to help you to debug it. It could be anything from a wrong command to a hardware issue...

Make sure you have the kernel module for the given file system of the device installed. Most likely this is about mounting a file system unknown to the current system.
