Which distro is it based on?
 

Hello all,

There are literally hundreds of Linux distributions out there. Most of them seem to be based on a "base" distribution -- the popular ones being Fedora, Mandrake, Debian, and maybe a few others. What I am wondering is if there is a list somewhere that tells you what distribution is based on what? (e.g., MEPIS is based on Debian).

Anything like that out there?

I started a WIKI family-tree listing of the distributions a while ago, although it only includes distributions that were already present. You could add to it if you like :D.
