Which Distro

Hi,

I had understood that Dapper Drake was the most newbie friendly distro. But what about Ubuntu Multimedia ? Please can someone say a little about the pros and cons of each or any ?

Erm, probably not. I'd google for distrowatch if I were you!

Dapper just happens to be the latest with "LTS" (aka Long Term Support). Theres a more recent version on the mirrors. I'd guess that "Ubuntu Multimedia" is just the latest version that is aimed at....... well, perhaps...... Multimedia ?

regards

John

Apples and Oranges....

Multimedia appears to be an adaptation of regular Ubuntu to provide more or better multi-media capabilities.

I would expect both to be equally user-friendly
