Wheres my Sata's gone?

ive just converted my entire pc system to the new suse linux. the suse platform is installed on my primary maxtor ide and is running fine. ive then got 2 sata HDDs which i was able to see at the beginning but have now dissaperaed from my desktop and computer folder. i have been into admin through YaST and the hardware can still be seen.
how come i cant se them anymore on my desktop (like the floppy icon) and in the computer folder? pls pls could anyone tell me how i can see them again so that i can acces them... thank

I would guess that they haven't been mounted. Can you post the contents of /etc/fstab?

sorry what? im kinda brand new to linux and dont understand what u mean. if i go into the yast admin control center > the to hardware information > and then disks.

here i can see both my ide and satax2 drives...

Can you use a text editor? any will do. Open the file /etc/fstab and copy its contents to this forum.
