Where to read for starting parameters :S ?

I've noticed that in gnome the applications can be started with several parameters, like %u %F -u and so on. Does anybody know where to get documentation about those parameters for the apps. I would be very thankful.

Thanks beforehand. =)

Take a look at the Gnome manual, section Launcher Commands.

Thank you very much =) I knew there were somewhere in gnome, but couldn't find the section in time.

Thanks again ^^
