I am using my LCD TV as my monitor, and the nvidia forums suggested I

Quote:
please boot the system with the pci=nommconf kernel parameter.
Where do i put this command?

Hi farmerdave,

This is an argument that will need to be appended to the kernel line in /boot/grub/menu.lst if you are using grub:

eg.

title Fedora (2.6.29.6-217.2.16.fc11.i586)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.29.6-217.2.16.fc11.i586 ro root=/dev/mapper/vg_xxxx-lv_root rhgb quiet pci=nommconf
initrd /initrd-2.6.29.6-217.2.16.fc11.i586.img

cheers,

kbp

Should be - the boot-loaders just pass on anything that isn't specifically for them.
