Can u figure out what this means , see the line in "installation under ubuntu" section of the link,

Quote:
You will also need to edit the Makefile and choose the following option.
# ----- Use the following for Linux kernel 2.6.x: -----
CFLAGS=$(OPTS) -I$(LIBUSB)/include -DLINUX -DUSE_DETACH -DCLAIM_USB

means to open the makefile in source folder..and find line that starts with
# ----- Use the following for Linux kernel 2.6.x: -----
then add to it..
CFLAGS=$(OPTS) -I$(LIBUSB)/include -DLINUX -DUSE_DETACH -DCLAIM_USB

the rest of the instructions should work too in Debian..
Just remeber to substitute sudo with su

you download it fom links at bottom of page.??i see a linux executable and source..meaning you wouldnt have to compile it..Pickit2 and PK2CMD are same thing right??I dont see a linux version of pickit2..so linux name of it must be pk2cmd..I think you downloaded executable..if so..cd into folder and enter
./pk2cmd
