you installed the actual wine program into /wine?

Hi,

When Wine is installed correctly, it automatically installs itself in /home/username/.wine. When a program is installed under Wine, it will go into /home/username/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/program name.

Here's a tutorial for using Wine.

Cheers
