Question where is time on the squid log file


Hi there..

I viewed a squid log file and I am confused on what the following 13 digits indicate..../var/log/dansguardian/access.log:"1301956620.901"
Please help!!

This is the time elapsed in seconds

time elapsed remotehost code/status bytes method URL rfc931 peerstatus/peerhost type
Using
Code:
perl -p -e 's/^([0-9]*)/"[".localtime($1)."]"/e' <access.log
you can parse the log file nad convert time to human readable.
To use a more convenient logging, have a look at logformat directive.
