where is my ie?

i installed internet explorer for my fedora core 1 (by right-click on setup.exe and open with wine). everything went great, it (msīs window) even confirmed that installation was successful, but now i canīt find where it installed it.

in /home/.wine/windows/.../internet explorer/ there is nothing like iexplorer.exe or something like that. nothing even in menus or whatsoever.

how do i find it?

How often do you need photoshop? What do you need it for? I assume you have windows, it might be better to reboot and use it when you need to.
Anyway, what you could do is:
find / -name iexplore\*
to find where you put the executable

You could try something like:

find / -name *explorer*.exe -print

Um, are you sure it actually did install? If you ran Wine from the file manager, any failures will have been silently redirected to /dev/null

yes i ran wine from file manager, but ie installation confirmed me that installation was successful.

btw, you may still be right, mhearn, because find /etc did't show anything.
