where is KDE

I installed debian 6.0.6 and then tried to switch to "KDE" using:

apt-get install kde

got the following error message:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Package kde is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or
is only available from another source

E: Package 'kde' has no installation candidate

this didn't happened to me in the previous Debian versions

What should I do next?
