Where is installed softwere in Suse 8.0?

I installed some development softwere tools, but could not find them. Where are they? How do I run them?

Sounds stupid, a very newbie question.

Thanks.

SuSEconfig normally writes or symlinks to locations already in your path, try typing the prog name in a term window.

I installed something called "integrated C/C++ develop ..". I am not so sure. I assumed I should be able to find it. But it was disapeared.

sounds like either anjuta or kdevelop. both should be on your menu under 'development'. kdevelop should be in /opt/kde3 and anjuta in /opt/gnome or /opt/gnome2.

Thanks! I installed both, and found kdevelop, but not the other one.

run 'kappfinder' to fill in your menu (kde ignores alot of gnome apps) or type 'anjuta' at a term.
