If you're referring to a web browser, enter something like this in a console

Quote:
which firefox
...for Firefox. This works on anything installed on your system...

rhel "server" 4 ?
on a pc with a gui ?
ok
well that will be firefox-3.0.12-1.el4.centos.i386.rpm for rhel4.0
if this is RHEL4.9 then it is firefox-3.6.9-1.el4.centos.i386.rpm

now seeing as firefox 10 is current
and ff3 can not use the current firefox plugins
why are you using rhel4 on a pc

but the old firefox configuration ( history, bookmarks, settings)files should be in
/home/YourUserName/.mozilla/firefox/?????
in there someplace
