Where is apache installed?

I installed a lamp server on my ubuntu, but I don't know where the apache files are. I want to be able to host my own site.

Have you tried the 'locate' command? "locate apache", without the quotes.

Also check these areas:

Apache config files are in /etc/apache
Apache log files are in /var/log/apache
Apache libs are in /usr/lib/apache
Other files can be in /usr/share/apache, /var/lib/apache

Found those using google...
