Where Do I Get Gcc, cc. Please Help!


Hi, im pretty new to linux so bare with me. When ever i try to ./configure something, i get this

checking gcc no
checking cc no
cant find cc in $PATH

So do i need Gcc and cc?

If i do, please tell me where to get them (direct link please)?

And how to install them (im new so please step by step)

Please i need this to work because enough apps need this to work!

Yes. cc is an alias for gcc.

gcc is on your install CD. You can use YaST2 to install them if you are running SuSE. Fedora also has a GUI installer but I don't remember its name.
