I dont understand. Why does the search "PacketTracer" gives no output while only whereis PacketTracer5 gives an output. (locate does no help at all!)
ssrameez said "packet-tracer", not "PacketTracer".

if you are unsure of the spelling of a program name
Or like me -- a very bad speller--
type in the first 3 or 4 letters and hit the <tab> button
<tab> is the typing autocomplete
hit it twice for a list of possible listings
example for "ls"
hit tab twice

extrapolate ...
type in "pack" and hit <tab> twice --- what shows up in the list ?
