Where can I find "ISO"packages for Fedora?
Hello Everybody,
I have fedora 11 installed on my laptop and I have no internet connection in my Fedora. My internet connection is in Win XP. Therefore I am searching for the packages of Fedora on DVD so whenever I need them I can copy them from DVD instead of retrieving from internet? I would be grateful if any one could help me in this matter. With best regards, Hassan |
In you're thread title you ask for ISO packages.
ISO stands for International Organization For Standardization . So please tell us what you are looking for. |
I don't understand what you mean by:

However I would strongly recommend getting your internet connection working on Fedora if for no other reason than to keep it up to date. |
I agree with kmacphail. Lets get your internet working on your Fedora install and go from there.

What hardware...
If you posted back with the information about your internet connection and what hardware you have, we could help get fedora connected to the internet. This would be better for you since you would both have access to the repositories and to all the updates from fedora. You might edit the title of your thread to ask for connecting your device. If you use the command "lspci" or "lshw", you should find out what connection your system is using. Otherwise look at the documentation for your motherboard or laptop to find more information about the LAN chip the system is using. This is from the documentation for fedora 12. http://docs.fedoraproject.org/instal...ig-fedora.html |
