I downloaded and installed gpc and documentation. I run info gpc. Example files are mentioned, such as gpc_c_unit.pas and gpc_c_pas.pas. Where are they?
A long time ago I installed gpc on a linux machine in /usr/local... and if I remember well, they were in /usr/local/share/doc/demos or something similar. Anyway, you can find them all in the source archive under directory gpc-<version>/p/demos.

I found example files from downloading, uncompressing and extracting a tarball from www.gnu-pascal.org.
