Question Where's my poor Windows gone?

Hi everyone!

I read all the instructions about dual boot and thought I did quite well . . but!

I'm not sure if I installed the 'boot loader' part correctly (total unix novice here btw).

When it starts up I get the GRUB screen but there's only the Red Hat option there (ie not my Windows XP installation which should still be on the c drive).

Any ideas how I get that listed in GRUB? or how I can run Windows?

Background info - 2 hdds, c: contains Windows XP Pro, d: contains Red Hat 7.3

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

Simon

Google for grub windows install
There will be instructions on how to modify your /boot/grub/grub.conf file
fdisk -l to find out where your windows is.
It's the fat32 or.. ntfs partition (or sometimes it's named dos)

Thanks teval but I'm struggling like buggery!

I've found my /boot/grub/grub.conf file and I know that Windows is installed on /dev/hda1 but can't see what to add to the grub.conf

Anyone else out there with Windows XP?

Thanks

Simon
