When power is reset Linux server sits at login prompt, want this to login automatical
 

Hi,

When there is a power reset – when the servers are reset they sit at a login prompt. They need to login and load up required modules rather than wait for intervention?

Can you advise how I can set this?

Hello,

Why would you perform an automated login on a server? That will only cause insecure and difficult to control situations. It would be a lot easier to use startup scripts and links in the appropriate runlevels to load what you need at runtime.

Can you specify a little bit more about what you need to load automatically?
