When I try to install an rpm file I get an error message.
I launch the terminal, type in "su" and then enter the command:
rpm -Uvh *.rpm
(the file name is real long; I tried typing in the whole name)
When I hit Enter I get the error message:
error: File not found by glob: *.rpm
The file is in the "home" folder. The access permissions on this folder are greyed out. Under Ownership, root is the User and the Group. On the file, Owner has RW, Group has RW and Others has R permissions. Under Ownership I am the User and the Group.
I'm using FC-5, x86_64.
I've never installed an rpm before. What a way to start. This rpm supposedly will give the Kernel the ability to read ntfs. I sure hope somebody can set me straight.
